Honestly, I will admit it was quite chilling. There were so many set ups for Rook to scare us (I was a scaredy cat and didn't do anything, but I was also too sympathetic to be rude to the creepy Rook... I know I will suffer stranger danger) but from what I saw in other videos and images I could tell there is more to Rook and his unsettling vibes.

He's such a curious character with a tragic feel to him, from what little we get from the VN it seems he wasn't getting the proper support he needed, and isolation only further exacerbated his problems. I have to say, I love how Rook was characterized! (Also how did he find out about MC's information, boy you could have employed those skills to find your package)

But I will say this, I was absolutely weak for Rook. Like, my caretaker instinct just flared up upon seeing Rook and I was like "You unsettling man, you terrify me but I must give you a bath and food". Still, great work with this one!

the game is short but good, it leaves a lot open for more story-telling or even good as stand-alone

For anyone on Mac with issues opening the game, here's a fix from https://melancholy-marionette.itch.io/, who also has some great games about some horrific loverboys. Check them out!

• Right click on the game and select "Open Package Contents", then click Contents then MacOS. You should see a file called "ACryforHelp"
• Open Terminal and write the following command; make sure to add a space after the x: chmod u+x
• Drag the "ACryforHelp" file, drop it onto the Terminal window, and press Enter. The file's icon should change.

Now the game should work when you try to open it again!

Will this game has any sequel? I think it should has or has more ending something not clear for me about Rook how did he know where mc  workplace what pakcage he finds. Anyway this game is good

This was actually a really cute game. Would you consider making a sequel in the future?

I feel like such a coward, but I fully jumped when Rook nodded... the least unsettling of the animations, and that's the one that got me! I'm absolutely enough of a doormat that Rook would walk away with my phone-number while I pull over somewhere after the interaction to have a panic attack to my friends.

That said, they're adorable and I wanna cover their face in kisses even though I'm concerned about how their hoodie got into the state it's in.
